What to Expect

A diverse and friendly group of readers gathered around to discuss books and more every third Wednesday** of each month.

❋❋Subject to change
❋ Monthly Book Pick

After a brief greeting, and introductions when new members join in, we will begin discussing the “assigned” book for the month. Discussion questions are utilized as a guide for conversation.

❋ More Book Talk

Through the natural progression of conversation, we will often share with one another other books we are reading, upcoming releases we are excited about, etc.

❋ Food & Beverage

Our meetings are hosted within venues that either serve food & beverages or welcome outside food & beverages. Such information will be added to the details of each meeting description. No one wants to talk books when they’re hungry!

❋ Extras

The lifestyle of a reader is vast. Every so often we will throw in a project or challenge to keep our meetings fun and exciting, such as a creative activity to do while we chat, or sharing our reading journal layouts with one another. Such “extras” will be listed in the details of each meeting description.

Books are something social — a writer speaking to a reader — so I think making the reading of a book the center of a social event, the meeting of a book club, is a brilliant idea.
— Yann Martel
